Finding A Gynaecologist

Finding something precious is always a difficult task, and finding someone related to something very precious is equal to impossible. A year and a half back I remember myself as a paranoid mom to be, who was looking for a co-operative and experienced gynaecologist, who was supposed to help me delivering my baby safely. Here in Karachi, there are always so many options for each and everything. My friends and family were still confused and wanted me to choose the nearest option. In pregnancy mom to be is always very lazy and lethargic and so was my condition and I wanted to omit the hassle of waiting in a queue for appointments and opinions. That time has obviously been passed but recently I came across a very functional app- Find My Doctor and I research and wrote about it a month and a half ago. I was surprised by the results of this app. The app has options to select the Doctors through timings and availability.

The App has various other options such as blood banking, ambulances for emergencies, which I suppose is very important in pregnancy where you can't predict emergencies.

What Should I look While finding My Gynaecologist and Hospital?

Well, I research and after a hand to hand experience I came up with these points for what should a mom to look for in her Gynecologist and Hospital for sure.

Gynaecologist:

  • Qualification
  • Experience
  • Behavior towards patients
  • Communication Skills
  • Well informed about Modern Technologies in Medical Sciences.
