Drama Time- Watch your favorite dramas online

Karachi, 21st October 2016: Unilever Pakistan launched the first Pakistani drama portal with legal and high quality content, #DramaTime. This platform will help fight piracy and create a win-win for both the end viewers and television networks with minimal advertising. Currently, the website hosts dramas from our nation’s biggest television networks such as Hum TV Network, APlus/ATV, Express Network, TV One and Urdu1. The event was hosted by Mansha Pasha as well as Pakistan’s favorite comedian and superstar Yasir Hussain with Chief Guests Sultana Siddiqui (Hum Network) and Bilal Lakhani (Express Group). The star-studded event had some of Pakistan’s most loved celebrities from the drama industry such as Behroze Sabzwari, Rubina Ashraf, Saba Hameed, Ahsan Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Aijaz Aslam, Feroze Khan, Nausheen Shah, Wajahat Rauf, Shazia Wajahat, Tipu Sharif, Sarwat Gilani, Hina Bayat amongst many others. In addition, the keynote speakers were Shazia Syed – (Chairperson and CEO - Unilever Pakistan) and Ali Tariq (CFO - Unilever Pakistan). The PR was handled by BodyBeat Events & PR.






DRAMATIME:
Dramatime is an online portal that features Pakistani drama content from the country’s top television channels. Unilever Pakistan recognizes the growth of online video content consumption in the country and wants to invest in creating an online environment where the Pakistani audience can visit and watch their favorite dramas with minimum advertising. This initiative aims to have a WIN-WIN strategy for:

* Drama Industry: To fight piracy - all the content for the site is sourced legally.

* TV Channels: Expand to the digital audience, giving them the opportunity for their favorite dramas to be viewed at the audience’s convenience.

* Unilever: connecting with our digital audience through an engaging and convenient platform.

Ahmed Ali Butt starts work on his second film ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’


[Karachi: October 5th, 2016] After the blockbuster success of Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, award winning actor Ahmed Ali Butt starts shooting for his second film - ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ where he is playing the second lead.

ARY Films and Six Sigma Films team up with director Nadeem Baig which stars Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat in the leads.

Ahmed Ali Butt shares, “JPNA was a blockbuster and working again with this talented team is always a pleasure. I am actually looking forward to the feedback of my fans who will see me in a new avatar in this movie.”

Ahmad Ali Butt is a Pakistani rapper, film, television and voice actor and rock music keyboardist. He was born to Jehan-Rizvi family, his mother, Zille Huma, and grandmother, Noor Jehan, were both popular singer in the country and helped shaped the music industry of Pakistan. He is the grandson of Shaukat Hussain Rizvi, and cousin of Sonya Jehan and Sikander Rizvi. He started his career in mid-1990s after merging the two bands, now known as Entity Paradigm.
